Crossing the River Rubicon moment
One of my Crossing the River Rubicon moments was not too long ago. The decision was to either do running club or indoor lacrosse. I wanted to do running club, but I liked lacrosse too. I talked it over with my mom. I thought of which one I would be more comfortable with. I talked it over with my mom again. I chose running club over indoor lacrosse. I am happy with this decision because my friends are in running club and the place with indoor lacrosse i had already played there. Also indoor lacrosse wasn't legit lacrosse. That means that the rules were not the same.
Caesar had a decision to make when he came to the Rubicon River. He had to either cross it an start a civil war or he could stay behind and live a boring life. When Caesar decided to finally cross the Rubicon all of Rome fell into a civil war. The term "The Die is Cast" means that when you come up with a decision in a situation you will start another situation.

The Ides of March
The Ides of March was when Caesar was killed by senators. Julius Caesar had 23 dagger holes in his dead body. Julius Caesar's best friend, Brutus led him into a trap. Julius Caesar and the senate did not have a good relationship. Julius Caesar acted like a king and wore the royal color, purple. The senate did not like this. Julius Caesar did not stand up when the senate came in the room. The senate really hated this and that is what made them kill Caesar. The impact on Rome was that lots of people were very sad about Caesar's death, but some people were very happy.
